Sacred Nature Sites

Sacred Natural Sites in the Andes

In all of our Retreats, we visit the sacred nature sites—waka kuskakuna—of the Andean highlands around Kinti Yaya. These powerful, high-energy places, such as waterfalls, lakes, and mountains, are essential for us to pray, connect, and align with Pachamama.

In the past, we have offered a retreat dedicated to these sacred nature sites. If you’re interested, we would be happy to offer this retreat again. The video below holds special significance for all participants of Kinti Yaya’s retreats, offering a deeper understanding of the sacred excursions included in each experience.

Are you interested in a Ceremonial Tour of Sacred Nature Sites in the Andes?

Each visit to these sacred sites includes insightful stories and teachings about their cultural, historical, and spiritual importance, moments of silent reflection, and an Andean group ceremony—all guided by Kichwa Yachak (Shaman) Tayta Willak.

The retreat also offers the option of a shamanic experience with entheogenic plants, as well as a ceremonial pachamanka meal, where food is cooked using heated rocks in an earth pit.

Participants should be in good health and able to navigate the local terrain with minimal assistance.

The four days tour includes guided walks, hikes, teachings, storytelling, Andean ceremonies, ten runa mikuy meals, local transportation, and overnight lodging with a local Kichwa family.

We are also happy to offer one or two day programs for you!
